Tightening Loose Skin With Natural Skin Care For Women After 35

Young people often undermine the importance of a good skincare regimen. Proofs of that are the numerous people who want to get tanned. Little did they know that tightening loose skin will be their ultimate problem when they get older.

One of the major causes of loose skin is overexposure to the sun. You see, the sun’s UV rays are harmful to the functions of our skin. It impedes our production of collagen and elastin thereby increasing our risk of developing wrinkles and saggy skin.

The effects of the sun do not stop there. You are also at risk of developing brown age spots and even skin cancer. Start reversing the damage by slapping on moisturizer with a high SPF level when you go outdoors. You should collect cosmetics and beauty products that contain SPF to make sure you are fully protected.

As for tightening loose skin, you have to choose a product that contains ingredients effective in bringing about a healthier level of collagen and elastin as these are the two components commonly lost when there is a loosening of skin.

Your natural skin care treatment should contain CynergyTK. Never go without this as this is the ingredient that can wake up your skin and help improve its production of healthy collagen and elastin. CynergyTK is your ally in firming up loose skin and warding off the development of wrinkles.

Women at the age of 35 should also protect their hyaluronic acid content as this is the age that we lose hyaluronic acid rapidly. It is imperative to safeguard hyaluronic acid because this promotes a healthier and younger-looking skin.

Make sure what you are using also contains beneficial essential oils like grape seed oil and avocado oil. Grape seed oil, apart from promoting skin elasticity, also contains antioxidants that can kill harmful free radicals. Avocado oil, on the other hand, is replete with all the necessary vitamins and minerals that can improve the immune functions of our skin.

Timagesake all these in consideration and make sure you choose a facial cream carefully. After all, time here is of the essence.

And to help you get clearer and younger looking skin, I would like to share with you one anti aging skin care range of products that I discovered. They contain more active ingredients than any other cream on the market. These ingredients are effective moisturizers, because they penetrate deeply to “nourish” the skin. So, they never feel greasy.

I have never seen any other natural products that are as good and report no negative or adverse effects. They are hypo-allergenic, fragrance free and can be used on any skin-type. If you want to see and discover similar results, you should visit to find out more.

Style and Fashion After 40: How to Look Your Best

By Pauline A Delany

No matter what your body type was when you were in your 20s or 30s, it isn’t likely to be the same once you reach the 40s. Many women begin to gain weight in the abdominal area, increasing their waist measurement in comparison to the rest of their bodies. The changes that take place often do more than cause you to go up a size in clothing: They also mean that the same styles that fit your body best before may not be the best choices for you anymore.

Get to Know Who You Are

The first step towards finding your personal style for who you are today is to take a closer look at all the clothes in your wardrobe. Toss out anything that is outdated and limit the number of items that you have in basic black or grey to only a few. Try on all your outfits and evaluate how they look with a critical eye. Focus on styles and colors to see which ones are flattering and those that are not.

Clothing that looks youthful doesn’t necessarily mean that it will make you look youthful. If you have trendy clothes in your closet that look like you borrowed them from your teenage daughter, put those in the “Out” pile. The same is true for clothing that looks too matronly. Forty isn’t eighty and you don’t want to oversimplify your wardrobe to make you look older than you really are. Once you have eliminated any clothing that is not flattering from your closet, you will have a better idea of the types of clothing styles and colours you need to build a complimentary wardrobe.

Avoid the Fashion Trap

Many women feel that they should wear the latest trends, no matter how wrong they are for them. Don’t let the fashion industry dictate what you are going to wear! It isn’t about what is on the skinny 20-year-old models walking down the runways. It’s about you finding the best looks for who you are. If the latest trends happens to be right for you, great!

Some basic tips to ensure you always look your best include:

Keep skirts, shorts and pants in the middle where lengths are concerned. The ideal skirt length is just above the knee. Don’t wear them short-short or too long.

Avoid short jackets and tops, opting instead for those that come at least 2-inches below the waist. Otherwise, they will emphasise an expanding waist and make you look boxy, especially for shorter women.

Skip the hip-huggers and the elastic waist jeans and find the happy medium with fitted jeans that flatter your shape. If regular jeans are too tight in the waist, try a relaxed style that is made a little looser. Don’t go for baggy jeans or those that are over-bleached or shredded.

Buy shoes that have medium heels, not flats. These not only are more flattering, but they are actually healthier for your feet.

Add some classics to your wardrobe. A white button-down shirt, a good, fitted blazer and some dark coloured jeans will go a long way towards creating a versatile wardrobe that you can wear with a lot of colourful pieces and accessories.

Get an honest opinion from someone you trust. Others may not see you the same way that you see yourself.

Looking your best after 40 has a lot to do with balance and finding the middle ground between extremes. Once you develop your personal style, stay with it no matter what new trends appear!

The Year of the “Chick Blitz” (Hollywood Discovers Forty-Something Women)

By Evelyn Kalinosky

According to Samantha Critchell of the Associated Press, 2010 is a “new day” for forty-something women. “Women are where it’s at in the world of entertainment – and we’re talking “women” not “girls” for the most part. Forty-something women, especially Sandra Bullock, had a banner year in 2009, and their influence is expected to continue,” writes Critchell.

She quotes Bonnie Fuller, editor-in-chief of who believes: “There’s a shift in attitude. There’s a total chick blitz in general.” Fuller thinks Hollywood executives will take notice of the success of actresses such as Julianna Margulies, Jennifer Aniston, Kyra Sedgwick, Courteney Cox and their peers, developing movies and TV shows that give them roles that show evolving, desirable sexy characters who don’t hide from their age.

To which I say, almost in tandem: “Hell, yeah!” and “Are you kidding me?” I’m having one of those two-sided conversations with myself about what this endorsement really means. On the one hand, I applaud the greatly overdue recognition by Hollywood and the youth-obsessed media that there really is life out there for women over the age of forty. Not a life of slow and inevitable degeneration like the winding down of a clock, but a life brimming with possibilities. I applaud the acknowledgment, however late in coming, that beauty is not the province of the chronologically gifted (i.e. young), but is something that belongs to all women regardless of their age.

On the other hand I want to do something far less gracious with my hands than applauding (picture something other than the thumbs up sign, and the gesture that used to get my youngest child routinely grounded, if you get my drift). Hollywood giving those of us on the other side of forty the high-five feels rather like we’re being thrown a bone and should feel grateful, like we’re a fad, or the flavor of the month rather than the complex, multi-faceted, amazing creatures we are – and always have been.

Having Hollywood and the media’s “blessing” isn’t sitting well with me. I want to say: “Who cares?” what men in suits in a town known for unabashed superficiality think about what constitutes bling. And while I am a firm believer that life after forty for women doesn’t mean life without sex – or sex appeal – I chafe at the thought of stereotyping midlife women as “desirable sexy characters who don’t hide from their age.” I’d be happier if the mindset was simply “who don’t hide from their age” and leave sex out of it altogether. Whenever Hollywood brings sex into the equation it’s an immediate red flag for me; a cynical, but time-tested truism that the multi-dimensional forty-something woman will suddenly become rather one-dimensional in the hands of film and media.

I do, however, heartily applaud Meryl Streep, Julianna Marguiles and other over forty actresses who are refusing to play by the rules. After all, who made the rules anyway? I applaud the women I’ve interviewed for my upcoming book on women navigating in and through midlife. I applaud my friends, peers, and family members of the female persuasion who are aging gracefully and fiercely. They aren’t hiding their age. They aren’t flashing a neon sign showcasing their age. Their age is irrelevant. They are too busy charting their path – and it’s often an entirely new path that they themselves have bushwhacked because of so few role models around to have broken trail for them.

Although I commend these mavericks for their trailblazing ways, it’s a myth and a disservice to paint forty-something women as having all the answers. I hope Hollywood errs on the side of caution in its evolving characterizations of women in midlife. Life is messy. Life is complicated. Midlife women continue to struggle with career, family, health and wealth issues. They are dealing with grown children leaving the nest; with young children still in the fold. They are reaching the pinnacle of their careers or their plateaus, and are thinking about what comes next. Some women are dealing with health issues: cancer, heart disease, menopause, unexpected death. Some are uncovering long dormant dreams and talents, others shedding self-limiting beliefs that have dogged them for decades. Divorced. Remarried. Unattached. Forty-something women are no strangers to the ups and downs of living.

Life doesn’t change on the other side of forty. What does change, perhaps, is the way we deal with this ebb and flow in the second half of life. There is something to be said for longevity; for experience; for showing up over and over again that enables us to shake off the trials and tribulations that rain down on us each day. Midlife women don’t have all the answers – what we have is enough seniority to know we don’t need them in order to shine.

So I raise a toast to my sisters forty and older that you celebrate the year of the “chick blitz”, but do it on your terms. Keep on bushwhacking; keep on redefining and pushing the boundaries of what it means to be a woman in midlife, and I’ll be right there with you. Salute!

How to Look Fabulous and Beautiful After Forty!

By Nellie Shani

Preparing to look fabulous and beautiful after forty must start way before you hit forty. Prevention is always better than cure! However the truth of the matter is that many people “abuse” their bodies before they hit forty so that once they hit forty, they are not able to look beautiful.

Most forty year-old women have usually stopped giving birth and have a little more time in their hands. If they have been a stay-at-home mum then usually their children are already teenagers. If they have been career women then they are usually finally holding a good job.

If one has “abused” their bodies then at the age of forty, they will probably be having sagging and dry skin. They will also probably be overweight.

To look fabulous and beautiful after forty, we need to have been drinking plenty of water. The body is 70% water and the cells need to be kept alive by drinking enough water. If a person has been drinking eight glasses of water a day, their skin will look fabulous at forty. Water helps get rid of the toxins that have accumulated in our bodies.

When we have too many toxins in our body which mainly come from processed foods then our body ages faster as it works hard to try and get rid of the toxins. The lymphatic system in our bodies was designed by God to get rid of toxins. The lymphatic system is activated through movement. Exercise is the best way to get rid of wastes from our bodies.

Anybody who exercises will look great at forty. It is said that brisk walking is the best exercise for activating the lymphatic system. Exercise also causes us to breathe deeply thus supplying the lowest part of our lungs with much needed oxygen. This is the part of the lungs that absorbs the most oxygen. Doctors tell us that if we give a cell oxygen and remove waste from it, it can live forever. The human body is mainly made of cells. Giving our bodies adequate oxygen will make us look fabulous and beautiful at forty.

It is said that we are what we eat. The body was created to absorb “living” food and not processed food. Fruits and vegetables have “living” water which gives our cells longevity. We are told that 50% of the food that we eat should consist of “living” water. We Will also not be overweight on fruits and vegetables. Many people are addicted to “fast” foods which is characterized by excessive oil.

With beautiful skin and a firm body, clothes will look fantastic on us after forty!

Beautiful And Wrinkle Free Complexion After 40 – Vital Ingredients That Will De-Age Your Skin

Beautiful And Wrinkle Free Complexion After 40 – Vital Ingredients That Will De-Age Your Skin

By Caroline Igwe

Are you wondering if it is possible to have a beautiful and wrinkle free complexion after 40? If yes, I am happy to tell you that it is possible; you just need an anti-wrinkle cream that contains the right ingredients.

I know that a lot of people are skeptical about anti-wrinkle creams because most of them do not keep to their promises; the truth is, you can easily select an effective brand if you know what to look for. Hence, this article is going to tell you some of the ingredients that will help you achieve and maintain a beautiful and wrinkles free complexion even beyond 40 years of age.

One of the major causes wrinkling is loss of collagen, which naturally happens as we get older; collagen is a protein that works together with elastin to make the skin firm, wrinkle-free and youthful. So, if you want to de-age your skin and make it look younger, you have to increase collagen production in your body.

I said, ‘increase collagen production’ because using a cream that contains collagen as an ingredient amounts to waste of time and money. Collagen molecules are too bulky to penetrate through the pores when applied topically; hence, the cream remains on the epidermis (outer skin), thereby not producing the desired effect.

What you really need is an anti-wrinkle cream that contains a collagen stimulant like functional keratin; this helps the body to manufacture collagen and elastin naturally. Hence, it rejuvenates the skin and increases its elasticity, thereby helping you achieve firm, beautiful and wrinkle free complexion.

Your anti-wrinkle cream should also be able to protect your skin from the attack of free radicals; hence, it should contain antioxidants like coq10 and natural vitamin E. Nano-lipobelle HEQ10 is a powerful antioxidant that contains both COQ10 and Vitamin E. It is effective at combating free radicals; it also rejuvenates the skin to make it look younger, beautiful and vibrant.

Other ingredients that will help you have a beautiful and wrinkle free complexion after 40 are moisturizers such as Maracuja, Avocado oil, Jojoba oil and Grapeseed oil. These natural plant oils moisturize the skin to make it soft, smooth and radiant; they also help to smooth away fine lines and reduce wrinkles.

Maintaining a beautiful and wrinkle free complexion after 40 is achievable; just make sure that you choose an anti-wrinkle cream that have the right ingredients. For more information on a natural anti-aging skincare line that will turn around the clock of your skin, visit my website.
